FAMILY INFO:

I was born and still live in Sydney, Australia. I have an Italian background. I’ve been happily married for 27 years.We have 3 children and a cuddly, 10yr old Persian X cat.

TYPE/STYLE OF DOLLS I MAKE:

I enjoy working in cloth, with sculptured features, some of my pieces are painted over cloth with gesso and/or acrylics, and some are paper clay over cloth. My dolls are not necessarily ‘pretty’ but show real character. Fantasy, dragons, elves, fairies and jesters are my preferred themes, but Medieval, Commedia D'Arte and costume history also interest me.

LENGTH OF TIME IN DOLL MAKING:

I have been making art dolls and various crafts for over- 20 yrs Teaching Crafts, Doll making and Designing approx. 12 yrs. Teaching On-line classes approx. 5 yrs.

PROFESSIONAL CREDITS:

I am a member of NODAAA (Australian Original Doll Artists Assoc. of Australia) and CDAA (Canadian Doll Artist Assoc). My pieces have won many, trophies, medals, rosettes and ribbons. My OOAK and Limited Edition pieces are held in collections around Australia, the U.S.A, Canada, Italy, England and Pakistan. My work has been featured in various publications.
